The purpose of the National Association of Women Artists is to foster public awareness of, and interest in, works of art with emphasis on fine art created by women and encourages the art work of new and emerging artists.

While encouraging contemporary artists, the Association honors and continues the long and important contribution of women to the history of American culture and art.

The Association promotes culture and education in the visual arts, including exhibitions of its members’ works, educational programs, scholarships, awards, and its historical archive.

Message From NAWAFL President

NAWA Florida Chapter Members,

As a chapter of creatives, our three main goals were established to inspire, support, and encourage our Florida members. Our three areas of focus for the Florida Chapter are:

  • Schedule 3-4 annual exhibitions at professional level venues in Florida

  • Organize monthly member artist presentations to showcase art techniques, inspirations, experiences, and artistic talent, all archived on our website to view at leisure

  • Provide annual scholarships to support the next generation of women artists

I am very proud of the artist members in NAWAFL and applaud their professionalism, volunteerism, and creative bravery as a sisterhood of like-minded artists.
